How are Sculptra treatments performed?

Sculptra is mixed with sterile water and the numbing medicine lidocaine, the suspension is injected with a small needle under local anesthesia. Each injection session may take 15 to 45 minutes depending on areas treated.  Patients can expect to return to regular activity shortly after treatment.  Patients should avoid aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicine a day or two before and the day of treatment, this will help minimize bruising.
